Parenting is the hardest, funniest, messiest job I’ve ever had — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But I also wouldn’t pretend that I have it all figured out.
I’m a mom of four wonderful, wild, and crazy kids. A is 11 and just started middle school this year — these preteen years are no joke! L is 9 (almost 10) and in 5th grade. His ADHD and he are the best of friends. J is 5 (almost 6) and just started kindergarten. He has autism and is one of the smartest kids I know. And D, who recently turned 4, is in preschool. I don’t think her mind or body has an off button.
Each of my kids is so different and uniquely them. We love to be silly together — singing and dancing in the living room like no one’s watching. And I’m the mom who takes her kids to Disney, even when it’s stressful, because the joy is worth it.
Why I Started This Blog
One day I realized I was carrying around all these stories — the good, the bad, the hilarious, the heartbreaking — and I wanted to share them. Not just for me, but for anyone else out there whispering, “Is it just me?”
Parenting isn’t just highlight reels. It’s overwhelming and beautiful and sometimes really lonely. I know that feeling of being alone in it — and I want you to know you’re not.
What You Can Expect Here
Honesty. Always. I’ll share the struggles and the growth that come with parenting. The funny sides — Sharpies on the walls, crumbs where they don’t belong, sibling bickering that could be its own sport. The lessons I’ve learned, and the ones I’m still figuring out in real time.
You’ll also find me opening up about the deeper side of parenting: mental health, family connections, identity, and what it really means to grow right alongside our kids.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re winging it — you’re in the right place. This isn’t about being a perfect parent. It’s about being real, together.
